BOXED VICKERS ARMSTRONGS GEOSPHERE STEEL WATCH WITH GREEN FACE

#2731308

Description

The Vickers Armstrongs Limited Edition Hand Assembled Edwards Geosphere Steel men’s watch gets its name from a man who personified what it means to be part of an institution. Sir George Edwards began his Vickers career as a draughtsman and rose through the ranks until he became the Chief Designer in 1945. In this role, he led countless projects that include the Viking Airliner, Valletta military transport and the Valiant strategic bomber, proving a deft versatility that is paramount in engineering.

The timepiece is powered by a highly precise Seiko Quartz Chronograph movement that operates with pristine accuracy. This powers the Seconds, Minutes, Date and 24 Hour counters that are arranged perfectly balanced across the military green dial that bears a close similarity to the aircraft designs Edwards oversaw. Surrounding this, the jet black rotating bezel references aviation watches.

Completing the piece, the Vickers Armstrong logo engraved stainless steel caseback and stainless steel bracelet demonstrate the consistency of quality that Edwards strived for in his designs.
